Bringing inspiring speakers, with a variety of subject matter, to the greater Concord community. Free and open to the public.

Learn about the Penacook Indians that lived in Concord for over 8,000 years and their interactions with the new comers.

Stephen Berwick has written 10 books about this subject from the Indians point of view and he will talk about his upcoming 10th book “Shadows Across the Land of the Dawn.” In the 9th book of the Shapeshifter series, descendant of Indigenous and European settlers New Hampshire author Stephen W. F. Berwick employs short stories and poems to flesh out the everyday lives, cultural heroes and landscape of the Penacook people of central New Hampshire.
